# Terms of use

These terms apply to softball.events and its subdomains, fastpitch.events and slowpitch.events (the “site”). RegisterPlay (“we”) runs the site. By using it, you agree to these terms.

## What the site is

The site lists softball tournaments that associations and tournament directors run on RegisterPlay. It is free to use, and you do not need an account.

## Listings come from organizers

- Each tournament’s organizer publishes and updates its listing. Dates, fees, divisions and open spots can change at any time, and a listing can be wrong or out of date.
- Check the details with the organizer before you rely on them. The tournament page links to the event’s own site.
- Entry and payment happen on the organizer’s site, under the organizer’s terms. We are not a party to that entry.

## What you may do

You may browse the site, share links to it, and use what you find to plan your season. Search engines and AI assistants may read the pages as our robots.txt allows.

## What you may not do

- Copy listings in bulk, by script or by hand, or republish them on another site or app, without a written agreement with us.
- Send automated requests that put a heavy load on the site, or get around limits or blocks we set.
- Use the site to break the law or to harm the site, its users or the organizers.

## Ownership

The site’s design, code, name and logo belong to RegisterPlay. Each listing’s content belongs to its organizer. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.

## Links to other sites

The site links to association sites, Google Maps and others. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.

## No warranty

The site is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it is always available, complete or free of errors, or that any tournament takes place as listed.

## Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, RegisterPlay is not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on a listing, including entry fees, travel costs or missed events.

## Changes and ending access

We may change the site or these terms at any time. The new terms apply from the date shown above. We may block access for anyone who breaks these terms.

## Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
